International Call for Scores
The UBE (Utrechts Blazers Ensemble) is a student wind ensemble that focuses on contemporary music. It has performed challenging and exciting programmes including many works by Dutch composers. After a successful first Call for Scores in 2010/11, which has enriched the ensemble’s repertoire and has led to fruitful collaborations with young composers from different parts of the world, the UBE announces a second Call for Scores in the hope of reaching once more the next generation of composers!

Het UBE is altijd op zoek naar nieuwe leden. We spelen stukken in wisselende bezetting en zorgen er daarbij voor dat er voor iedereen een interessante partij is. Onderstaande vacatures betreffen het huidige project. Als er geen vacature voor je instrument is maar je wel interesse in het UBE hebt, neem dan even contact op met het bestuur. Om alvast een idee te krijgen van de muziek die het UBE speelt kun je luisteren naar fragmenten van eerdere programma's.
